The Duke of Edinburgh's
Bronze Award provides an exciting opportunity for young people to develop
skills and gain an important qualification.
To gain your Bronze
Award there are four sections that you must complete and have signed off by
supervising adults. The
Volunteering,
Physical and
Skills sections shown on the right outline a wide variety of
activities for you to choose from to get started. To gain Bronze you must
complete one activity from each of these sections for a minimum of
3 months. You then need to choose one of the
activities to complete for a further 3 months
(making a total of 6).
The final section of the Bronze Award involves completing an Expedition and sufficient training to allow you to do such. Information about the training programme and dates can be found by selecting the Expedition link on the right.
